All Tiny Explorers gamesDrag each object into its matching colour bucket to learn sorting for ages 2 to 4.
Every activity is one step. Here is where this one fits.
Rainbow Colour Drop is a bright, touch-first sorting game for toddlers aged two to four. Under a festival sky of floating clouds and rainbow bridges, colourful objects appear in a tray at the bottom of the screen, and the child drags each one into the bucket that matches its colour. Every bucket is clearly labelled and large enough for small fingers, and a gentle snap pulls each object neatly into place when it is dropped on the right target. Children who cannot yet drag can simply tap an object and then tap its bucket, which works the same way and keeps the game playable for every ability and for keyboard users. Correct drops bring a cheerful pop and a rainbow burst, while a wrong bucket gives a soft, friendly nudge and lets the child try again with no penalty. The game builds early skills that matter long before formal maths: sorting and classifying by a single attribute, naming colours, and matching like with like. Rainbow Colour Drop works in any modern browser, asks for no sign-up, never advertises to children, and stores progress only on the device. It pairs well with our colour and shape worksheets for hands-on reinforcement away from the screen.
Chosen by the skills this activity practises.
A maths question is shown in large text at the centre of the play area. A timer bar begins counting down from 60 seconds.
Answer options are shown as large buttons. Tap and drag, or use the mouse on desktop. Any input method works — touch, mouse or keyboard.
Each consecutive correct answer increases your streak. A longer streak lights up the flame icon and adds a bonus multiplier to the XP you earn for the level.
Each level has 4 questions. Complete them to earn the full level reward (+10 XP, plus up to +10 XP for a perfect run). Progress is saved locally and shown on the Parent Dashboard.
Mapped to national curriculum frameworks so teachers and parents can match practice to school standards.
