Why Browse Math by Topic?
Grade level tells you roughly where a child is overall. It does not tell you which particular thing is causing trouble — and in maths it is usually a particular thing. A child can be comfortable with everything in their year except fractions, and a grade page will hand them a lot of practice they do not need to reach the practice they do.
Topic browsing goes straight at the gap. It also makes the shape of the subject visible: seeing subtraction sit next to addition, or algebra next to patterns, is a reminder that these are connected strands rather than a list of separate procedures.
